Terms & Conditions

By placing an order with JAX Rent A Box, you agree to the following terms.

 

1. Our Equipment

 

All moving boxes, dollies, and other rental equipment remain the property of JAX Rent A Box. Please don't sell, loan, rent, or transfer them to anyone else.

 

2. You're Responsible for the Equipment

 

While the equipment is in your possession, you're responsible for keeping it safe and in good condition.

 

If equipment is lost, stolen, or damaged beyond normal wear and tear, replacement charges will apply:

 

• Moving Box: $21.99 each

• 4-Wheel Dolly: $75.00 each

• 2-Wheel Dolly: $50.00 each

 

3. Please Return Everything Clean

Our boxes are reused hundreds of times, so we ask that you return them clean and ready for the next customer.

 

Please remove all tape, labels, and stickers before pickup. Avoid writing directly on the boxes.

 

Equipment returned with excessive dirt, food, liquids, strong odors, mold, or other contamination may be subject to a $50 cleaning fee. Removable labels or stickers may incur a $1 fee each to cover additional cleaning time.

 

4. Delivery & Pickup

 

Please make sure someone is available for your scheduled delivery and pickup.

 

Changes or cancellations require at least 48 hours' notice.

Missed deliveries or late changes may result in a $50 fee.

If your equipment isn't ready when we arrive for pickup, a $25 daily fee may apply until it's available.

 

5. Keeping Your Rental Longer

 

Need a little more time? No problem—just let us know before your scheduled pickup.

 

Additional rental charges may apply for extended rentals.

 

If we haven't heard from you and the equipment hasn't been returned within 30 days of the scheduled return date, we may charge the replacement value of the unreturned equipment to the payment method on file.

 

6. Taking Care of the Equipment

 

Please store the equipment indoors whenever possible and avoid exposing it to excessive weather, flooding, fire, chemicals, or anything that could permanently damage it.

 

The equipment is intended for moving and storing household or office items only.

 

7. Payment Authorization

 

By renting from JAX Rent A Box, you authorize us to keep your payment method on file and charge it for rental fees, extended rentals, cleaning fees, replacement costs, or other charges described in these Terms.

 

8. Delays

 

Sometimes weather or other unexpected events happen. While we'll always do our best to stay on schedule, JAX Rent A Box isn't responsible for delays caused by severe weather, road closures, vehicle issues, or other events outside our control.

 

9. Liability

 

You're responsible for using the equipment safely while it's in your possession. JAX Rent A Box isn't responsible for injuries, accidents, or property damage resulting from the use or misuse of our equipment.

 

10. Changes to These Terms

 

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Any changes will apply only to future rentals and won't affect rentals that have already been booked.

 

11. Agreement

 

By placing your order online, checking the acceptance box during checkout, or otherwise completing your rental, you acknowledge that you've read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
